The SKF 728619E hydraulic pump
SKF Maintenance Products, a division of the SKF Group, has
extended its range of hydraulic equipment with the introduction
of its new SKF 728169E, a heavy duty, lightweight, hand operated
hydraulic pump. Developed to facilitate easy mounting and
dismounting of bearings or other components, this latest addition
to SKF's range of hydraulic equipment has a high-pressure
capability of 150 MPa (21,750 psi).
The new 728169E is equipped with a two-stage automatic pressure
switching system ensuring efficient pressurisation of applications.
Additionally, the new pump can handle both SKF mounting and
dismounting fluids and has the facility for a double outlet.
To facilitate the completion of jobs, both big and small,
the new 728619E utilises a large usable oil capacity of 2.4
litres (0.6 US. Gal) while weighing just 11.4 kg (25 lb) when
fully filled with mounting fluid. In addition, the handle
effort at the maximum pressure of 150 MPa (21,750 psi) is
only 370 N (83.2lbf). To enable the pressure gauge to be easily
read, in all but the darkest environments, the gauge face
is bright yellow with a black scale.
Filled with SKF LHMF 300 mounting fluid, the pump is ready
to use straight from the box. The pump is supplied in a sturdy
metal box complete with a three-meter (9 ft) pressure hose,
quick connection coupling and mating nipple. An additional
one-litre (2.1 US. pint) of SKF LHMF 300 mounting fluid in
a separate container is included in the box.
The new SKF 728619E hydraulic pump replaces the current 728619,
which has been on the market for almost 20 years. Giving good
service to customers, its design, reliability and performance
are a testament to its long duration in the product programme.
